Terms of Service — Haus Together

1. Provider

Haus Together is operated by Koostory UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Akazienstraße 3A, 10823 Berlin, Germany (referred to as "we", "us", or "Haus Together"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Service description

Haus Together is a web application and Chrome extension that allows individuals, couples, and real estate agencies to save, organize, and collaborate on property listings from third-party portals. We do not provide real estate brokerage services and are not responsible for the accuracy of listing data sourced from external portals.

3. Account registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent.
You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Haus Together for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from Haus Together beyond normal use
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
Interfere with the integrity or performance of the service

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription, billed via Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Intellectual property

Haus Together and its content (design, code, branding) are owned by Koostory UG. You retain ownership of any data you upload (notes, photos, annotations). By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Third-party services

Haus Together integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (storage), and Anthropic (AI analysis). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not liable for outages or data handling by these providers beyond our contractual obligations with them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koostory UG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Haus Together. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or statutory rights that cannot be excluded under German law.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or suspend the service for technical or legal reasons with reasonable notice where possible.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at ilmokoo@koostory.net. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Haus Together after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
